Welcome! The Beartooth Recreational Trails Association (BRTA) was organized in 2002 for two primary purposes; 1) to continue the wintertime operations of the Red Lodge Nordic Center (RLNC), and 2) promotion of year round non-motorized trail systems along the Beartooth front and Carbon County Montana. We work closely with the Forest Service, the City of Red Lodge and other organizations to create and expand future trails.
Since that time, we have attracted many supporters and now have our official non-profit status (501c3). The RLNC continues to grow with new skiers and new trails and we are becoming more involved with the Red Lodge trail planning and development process.
Join our organization, and keep nordic skiing, as well as other non-motorized trail use a priority in our community!
